First Southern Baptist Church, St. George, Utah began ministering to the people of this beautiful area in 1964 when it was established as a mission. In 1968 the mission was continued as a church to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the Savior who forgives sins and gives eternal life to all who put their faith in Him. This faith is full dependence of Jesus and nothing else, not baptism, church membership or good workds. The church proclaims that Jesus changes every person whom He saves. The church provides opportunities to study God's Word each Sunday at 9:45 am, to worship the Lord at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. There is an exciting children's church at 11:00 am
