A Note From the Pastor
Philippians 1:3-6 expresses the way Gwen and I feel toward you. "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." We leave July 5th for Oklahom and with mixed emotions. We look forward to being with loved ones and friends and dealing with issues that must be taken care of, but we hate to leave you who have become dear to us. Each one of you has a special place in our hearts. We are confident that our Lord will guide you to find the pastor that He has already chosen. I praise the Lord for leading Clyde and Cindy Phillips, Larry and Laura Smith and David Payne to move to St. George and join FSBC. God was looking out for FSBC long ago without our knowing it. Our Lord has in place His servants to feed His people while you look for a pastor. You are blessed! Because God's timing is always best, we must say, "Good bye". We love you and will keep you in our prayers. "And this is my prayer that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through jesus Christ--to the flory and praise of God." Philippians 1:9-11
In Christ's love,
