Pastor John Fields came to our church from Southern Maryland. There he was called by God into ministry and served at Leonardtown Baptist Church for almost 20 years. For the first 10 years God prepared him for full time ministry by allowing him the privilege to serve as a layman in many different areas of the Lord’s church. He was an Associate Pastor for the next 10 years. He has been mentored by faithful pastors, teachers and Christians. His seminary education has been through Seminary Extension in Nashville, TN.
He began his ministry at FSBC on April 1, 2011. John's goal is to put our hands into the hands of Jesus Christ so that we may grow as the Lord's true disciples, having a passion to reach others for Christ.
Under our "New Here?" tab is a personal letter from John to all of our guests.
